Bonecarving now reaches into the rooms where a colony sleeps, eats, studies and holds court. The .144 furniture set brings eleven pieces to one crafting chain, with four directional views and a careful separation between natural bone frames and cloth that players can recolor.

Craft first, then install

All eleven pieces are crafted at the bonecarver's bench and installed as finished furniture. The set includes small, medium and large skull-and-bone thrones; a bone altar, dining table and dining chair; a single bed, double bed and gold-trimmed double bed; a bone crib; and an anatomical research skeleton on a stand.

The crib requires Biotech. Beds and the crib require Complex Furniture. Those gates should be checked before treating a missing bill as an installation failure. The four-direction artwork gives the pieces a consistent identity when a room's layout changes, rather than reserving the best view for one wall.

Dye the bedding, keep the frame

Beds and the crib begin with pillows and blankets in the selected fabric's material color. Dye bedding changes those cloth parts after the work is completed and consumes one dye. Restore original fabric colour is free. Bone and gold retain their natural colors.

That distinction lets a room share a cloth palette without turning every carved rib, skull or gilded detail into the same paint color. It also preserves the starting fabric choice as a useful appearance reference when the player restores the bedding later.

A research skeleton with a modest job

The anatomical skeleton grants +5% research speed when it is within three cells of a research bench in the same room. Only the strongest research aid applies. Filling a laboratory with skeletons will not multiply the bonus, and adding one beside a stronger aid does not add another independent 5%.

For medical work, it grants +5% tending speed and medical-operation speed within three cells of the patient, in the same room as the doctor. Extra skeletons do not stack. The benefit does not increase medical skill, surgery success chance or healing speed. That makes it a nearby work aid rather than a cure for an untrained surgeon.

Small visual details join the set

The same update adds small smoker-style sparks to fueled campfires. Empty, switched-off and despawned campfires do not emit the additional sparks. Detailed cattail roots, boiled roots and leaf artwork also join the checkpoint, while a salvage tool-selection correction addresses workers falling into a short wait loop without a usable hammer.

For a first test, craft and install one bed, rotate it, change only the bedding color, then save and reload. Place the skeleton beside a research bench and check its room and distance conditions. The package includes build and focused validation work; live installation, room effects, dye work and all directional appearances still need confirmation in game.
